Thanks for the pictures Voodoo. I attended the show last month at Pacaembu Stadium, So Paulo. Man, was a great show. Jon Lord always will be the master, one of the greatest, but this Don Airey is really good too. Gillan is still great as always, not to mention the charismatic Roger Glover, the virtuoso Steve Morse and of course Ian Paice.
Here is the setlist, from my memory (due to this, I think a song is missing, I don't know). For my total satisfaction I think they should have played 2 classics - Fireball and Bloodsucker, instead of Hush.
The setlist (from my memory, about a month after):
1- Highway Star
2- Woman From Tokyo
3- Silver Tongue
4- Lazy
5- Contact Lost
6- Haunted
7- Bananas
8- House Of Pain
9- Space Truckin'
10-Knocking At Your Back Door
11-Don Airey solo (Mr. Crowley/Aquarela do Brasil/Star Wars Theme)
12-Perfect Strangers
13-Steve Morse solo (Sweet Child O' Mine/Honky Tonk Women/Starway to Heaven/Day Triper/...)
14-Smoke on the Water
15-Hush
16-Black Night
As I said previously, every Stones fan should listen Deep Purple. Deep Purple is classic.
Thank you again Gerardo!
Cheers! |
