I am borrowing the AUDIENCE SOURCE of the Stones Brussels 10/17/1973
(1st show) from my friend.

He did get this direct from the taper a long time ago. His tape gens:
Audience Cassette Master (NOT SBD source!) > His Cassette (1st gen).

Here is set list:

01) the tapers comment
02) BS
03) GS
04) Happy
05) TD
06) Starfucker
07) DWMD
08) Angie
09) YCAGWYW
10) MR
11) HTW
12) ADTL
13) RTJ
14) JJF
15) SFM

I'm looking for the original taper of the 70s shows. If anyone have
any original masters, please reply privately.

maybe, but does anybody have any more detailed information..?

there are a few of these old guys still around. i know some of the folks that were taping the (real) dead back in the day, and i continue to learn alot from them...

i have no idea what the guy who wrote the message has in mind, but i was hoping if i could offer some useful information, then i might get a copy of the recording...

speaking of old school tapers, i do know that mike millard, who taped pretty much every big act to come through soCal in the mid to late '70s, is deceased. many of the famous Zeppelin boots from la (75, 79) were sourced from his tapes, as are most of the high quality LA 75 boots. Story goes he entered the venues in a wheelchair, with his gear on his lap under a blanket...

Gazza he's talking about the guy who recorded the audience tape, though - not the radio recordings that are on "Brussels affair"!
