nankerphelge Look for Jean LaFitte's Old Absynthe House on Bourbon Street (not sure of the cross street) -- it is a corner bar. It is a perfect place to sit and drink and watch the world go by!! There is also the bar at the top of the Jaxx brewery (I think it is spelled just like administrator) right on the mighty Miss. river!

If'n ya get out during the day -- check and see if Augies De Lago is still up & running -- multi-level bar on Lake Ponchatrain!
