Delia’s place in rock ‘n’ roll
Delia Smith has revealed her place in rock ‘n’ roll outlaw history.
She baked the cake, which graced the cover of the Rolling Stones’ Let it, Bleed album.
Delia, 63, was a freelance cook when the landmark album was made in 1969. It includes tracks like Gimme Shelter, Midnight Rambler and You Can’t Always Get What you want. The story is revealed in a new book called The Secret History of Entertainment by David Hepworth. |

Cool, one more piece of trivia to bore my non-Stones fan friends with. On the bright side, I know what I want my next birthday cake to look like. |

Actually, my Uncle Paul was a chef in New York...the Stones came in one night and he made Keith his specialty....Goat's Head Soup. 8 month's later, the album came out. Coincidence. I think not. |

Mick & Keith came to Ny and came up on stage for a quick number with a local band from LI. The show was at Cafe Wa last November. Check out the band. Rumor has it that Keith Plays on the first song, "Play the Game". Go to

I'm surprised no one has launched an outright campaign against plmouth74. Why am I the only one ready to fight?
Dude, if this is the only way you can draw attention to your lame ass band, good luck.
