Iron Maiden decided to play their new "A Matter Of Life And Death" in its entirety in the new tour.

October 12, New York. A guy has a "PLAY THE CLASSICS!" sign. Bruce take it and does that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGo0rHO_dN0

I think that these guys are cool for doing that. Imagine the Stones having the guts to play the whole ABB live.

But... would us really take it? Would us acept a show without Gimme Shelter, Sympathy, or any other warhorse and let them play a whole new album?

Tricky answer, but one thing is sure: Iron Maiden has balls.

That's kind of like saying Lyndon LaRouche has balls: It may be true, but not very many people care.

why not? We did without several of those songs (including those two) in 1981-82

The Stones arent a jukebox for the wankers too lazy and disinterested to discover their glorious body of work. After 44 years and countless tours around the world where everyone has had ample chance to see them, theyve earned the right to play what they want. Not be condemned to Nostalgiaville.

I am having a hard time getting into the new album but I still think its awesome. Maybe it will sound better live.
