...on the backing vocals on "Saint Of Me"?
Damn, I hate to say this nowadays, because neither he nor Keith have managed to keep their voices, but he sounds good! For a song that Keith's not on, he fills in really nicely. He's got that gravelly voice going even more than Keith, and it really works in the song.
Hmm. Maybe it's Blondie, come to think of it. He was 'in' at that time, wasn't he?

I don't think Blondie has a "gravelly" voice. He did sing lead on the Beach Boys' "Sail On, Sailor," and he actually sounds pretty smooth on that. Granted, that was done around '73, and I don't know how much his voice has changed since then. He's soulful, kind of, but not gravelly. |
