Topic: Stones Should Release DVD Of Their Videos Return to archive
10-11-02 11:21 PM
Gimme Shelter I think the Stones should release a DVD of all of their videos. I know they put out Video Rewind in the eighties, but an up to date DVD would be great. Here are some of the videos that could be on it.

One Hit To the Body
Saint of Me
Anybody Seen My Baby
Mixed Emotions
I Go Wild
A Rock and a Hard Place
Harlem Shuffle
Undercover Of the Night
Start Me Up
Angie
It's Only Rock and Roll
She's So Cold
Emotional Rescue
Sex Drive
Highwire
Out of Tears
Love Is Strong
You Got Me Rocking
Almost Hear You You Sigh
She Was Hot
Too Much Blood
Miss You
Neighbors
Waiting On a Friend

gypsymofo60 I've often said much the same thing except, I would like something more complete starting with the 60s, and bringing us up to date with 'Don't Stop'. Rewind was OK! But too many of the clips were just glimpses, like 'Miss You'. Anyway, you should do what I'm doing MAKE YOUR OWN.

Gimme Shelter I agree it should go from the beginning and show the videos or footage in it's entirety. I would love to see the whole "Jumpin' Jack Flash" promo. The problem I'm having is where to find these videos. Any suggestions???

There are two promos for JJF, The war-paint promo by Lindsay-Hogg, and a black&white shoot from about the same time. The war-paint video in it's entirety can be seen along with 'We Love You'& '2000 Light Years' on the VHS tape 'Superstars Of The 60s', I'm sure this is still in circulation. Hope that helps, if not I have some copies.

padre The Licks cd seems to be doing so well, that it would be a surprise if they DIDN'T accompany it with the DVD release...But hurry hurry, the santa's already packing his sacks!
