Jerry Lee Lewis's record (Mick and Ron play on it) debuted at # 26 this week on the Billboard charts. It sold 34k cd's
Tony Bennett scored his first US top 10 since 1963. Bennett entered the charts at #3. With 202,000 copies sold of his duet's album.
For the record Ludacris was #1 with 309k in sales. And Janet Jackson was #2 with 296k sold.
PS: Weird Al Yankovic debuted at #10 w/ 74k sold.
If Weird Al can sell 74k in his first week. The Stones should be able to move much more than the 128k they moved the 1st week of A Bigger Bang. They may need some type of different promotion. |

They need a new company and new producer. More strong and good material would help a lot too.

Have you listened to Lewis' new album? There are some really strong tracks on it, which I am sure you would like if only you kept an open mind! |
