Back from DC and very tired..............too tired to discuss what a great time my son and I had. All I can say is that it was a privilege to meet SS,( a great guy dealing with tough circumstances-"gold rings on ya") TomL and his wonderful son Ryan, , Marko(sorry we couldn't talk more), Factory Girl , JaggerGirl and husband, and the Shidoobees-Doug, his totally cool son(not shy to order a few rounds..lol), Oldkr, and all the others!!! I apologize if I missed anyone................I wish all of you can experience the sheer joy of meeting people you have "known" for years and how our love for the band bonds us despite any differences. I am planning my next trip now and hope to see down here in the South!!!

Don't tell anyone, but actually the best cheesesteaks are out in Chester at a place called Laspada's. And they make THE BEST italian subs. I mean it though...don't tell anyone. It's my little secret and I don't want to have to wait in lines next time I'm passing through. |

Are you from Philly? I went to school in Philly & I LOVE Pat's! It is the single greatest food on the face of the earth... Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, you can't beat it!! Nothing like having a Pat's "wiz wit" for breakfast @ 6:30AM on the way home from an evening of drinking & gambling in Atlantic City!!
I;ve been to all the cheesteak places in Philly & then some & none of them compare to Pat's in my opinion. Geno's would be great if it wasn't across the street from Pats! Geno's makes their steaks all nice & pretty. Pat's, they are rude, they slop the steak & cheesewiz on there & it's great!!!
