Agree Bloozehound, I was a huge fan over the years. Saw him play for the first time in Paradiso Amsterdam september 9 1983. That concert is still in my top 5 best-concerts-ever-list. |

i used to see stevie in austin playing with his brothers in a band called "paul ray and the cobras"
now THAT was a long time ago...

I remember that day too...I heard it on the radio while I was driving to school (OU)...I started crying, and had to pull over and skip classes for the day.

I remember that day very well. I heard it on the radio while I was driving home from work. It was a shock. I saw him the year before in a small club in Hamburg/Germany. He gave has best in a 1 and a half hour show.
