I was watching vh1's most shocking moments of roch and one of the moments was when keith got caught for having a pound of smack. During that segment they play a song by the stones and show footage of them playing that song? It almost sounds like a funk song. If anyone has any idea what the name of that song is please reply to me.
Thanks |

I'll bet the Stones are well-represented on a "shocking moments" show, but the only segment I've run across is when Bill married the bimbette with more teeth than brains. But I can't help but think, could this footage be from the El Mocambo? You have to be a bit more specific about Keith, busts and smack, but if it is the Toronto bust, which is really THE one that stands out, that might be the answer. And the fact that you don't immediately recognize the song; they did a few different things in those shows. Could that be it? |

Theres no footage in circulation of the El Mocambo that I've ever seen - dont imagine theres any available (although there IS some TV footage from the CNIB shows two years later..)
Description given sounds like it could be one of the "Black & Blue" promos - maybe "Hot Stuff" or "Hey Negrita" - lip synched "performances" filmed in Frankfurt,April '76 (just before the European tour opened..) |
