1.- Satisfaction was NOT played in 1976
2.- Satisfaction was played several times in 1978, see http://www.rocksoff.org/1978.htm for dates and venues
3.- See setlists for all tours (soon we will update with the current) here http://www.rocksoff.org/setlistspage.htm

FPM C10 "Satisfaction" was played at JFK Stadium, Philadelphia, in 1978. I was there. Sloppiest version EVER! Kinda cool though!

gustavobala ok....

in the site list says luxury in el mocambo? is true?

a correction: in brazil - são paulo , all shows was in PACAEMBU STADIUM, not MORUMBI STADIUM, because the morumbi was block by local city hall 3 days to show....

they do in another stadium called PACAEMBU

You are right, in fact it was the opening BUT that was not part of the 1976 tour see here http://www.rocksoff.org/miscnontour.htm that's why I didn't find it in the tour page for 1976

see the setlists page for info on whats available from each show. Unless stated otherwise on the page, every show is available.

Only about 30 minutes is available of one of the El Mocambo shows, in soundboard quality. "luxury" isnt in circulation.

All of the Knebworth show is available as an audience recording (at 145 minutes, the longest show the Stones had ever played to that point - and to this day, the longest show in terms of the number of songs played (29)). 85 minutes of it is available as a soundboard and about 55 minutes as a pro shot video

gustavobala gazza,
what are the musics who stones more played in every time?

jj flash? ht womem? brown sugar? satisfaction?
August 26th, 2005 12:31 PM
Gazza Jumpin' Jack Flash has been played at more Rolling Stones shows than any other song

Brown Sugar would be second. Honky Tonk Women third (even though its older than Brown Sugar it was left out of the set for most of the 72 tour and in some early 73 shows too)

Tumbling Dice (surprisingly) would be fourth, I think - ahead of Satisfaction.

JJF, BS, TD and Start Me Up are the only 4 songs that have never really been rested from the setlists since they were first performed

On the Licks tour, Brown Sugar was played at every one of the 117 shows, JJF at 115 and Tumbling Dice & SMU 114 times each. I cant think of too many other public shows prior to that where those songs were NOT performed since the date of their original release (apart from the Ian Stewart memorial gig in 1986 where EVERY song played that night was a cover version, but that wasnt a show open to the public)

Satisfaction (played 107 times in 2002-2003) would still have been performed more often that Start Me Up even though its not played quite as much, by virtue of the fact that it was debuted 16 years earlier.

Gazza Just to add to that and looking at the opposite end of things, prior to the recording of the new album, the Stones have released something like 332 different songs in their entire career

122 of those songs (over a third of their back catalogue) have still NEVER been played at a Stones concert

50 from the '60's
29 from the '70's (many of them from 'Metamorphosis' which makes them '60's songs!)
32 from the '80's
18 from the '90's
3 from the '00's
