Topic: A Bigger Bang show very similar show to Steel Wheels Return to archive
August 22nd, 2005 01:27 AM
Poison Dart From the opening cords of Start me up (Keith walking on stage by himself) while flame shoots out of the stage. To the immense stage iteslf (not as impressive as Steel Wheels) and Mick climbing to the top of the stage while fire shoots out of the stage during Sympathy for the Devil this show was very reminesent of Steel Wheels.

Even the play list (heavy on the war horse tunes) was somewhat similar to Steel Wheels. Just subtract the SW tunes for 4 Bigger Bang Songs.

Don't get me wrong this was a great show but was very similar to SW in many respects.

Oh No,Not You Again, She's so Cold, Start Me Up (crowd loved it as the Stones started rolling in 05) Out of Control and Night Time (Lisa Fisher stole this one) were the highlights (imho)

THE STONES ARE ROLLING ONCE AGAIN. Now let's work on debuting at #1 on the album charts.

PS: Why are shitheads like Britany Spears and Ashlee Simpson (neither one can sing)major stars. While is a huge talent like Lisa Fisher isn't?
