calling all guitar dudes!
anyone know anything about rickenbackers? i've been doing some research into lennon's rickie 325 - looks like i might have to find one for the beatle tribute band. i've been playing on our george's rickie for some time (not a 325), and he hinted maybe i should get my own....fair enough...a man's guitar is like his wife...
willie's guitars in st paul (awesome store!) is the only one in town i can find that has them, but they only sell the 350 and the 340....340 ($1600) has a much bigger body than lennon's but it is $1000 cheaper than the 350, which is close to lennon's 325...which brings us to the big question...do they still make the 325? where can you buy these rickies?...why aren't they more accessible?....what is a tribute artist to do?!?!
another question: i have an epiphone that i will be selling, along with my crate amp. anyone have any estimation on what i should ask for a price? i've had them for about 10 years and haven't played them much. the crate is in good shape...the epi is ok but the chrome needs to be cleaned.
here's a peek:

TIA!
