Stop playing other people's shitty songs as they have enough of their own we have not heard.............. |

I'd like to hear a majority of the new album on this tour. Dylan covers are great, but there's enough in the cannon that has yet to be played, and songs that haven't been played in a long time.
They better be working on Lies, Far Away Eyes, Soul Survivor, and Coming Down Again. |

Jay whole-heartedly agrees with you Josh, that makes a lot of sense.... anyway.... since they are covering other's stuff... at least it could be some raw, mean, nasty Rock'n'Roll... not reggae, or boring stuff. |

Agreed...the reggae/dylan/motown shit sucks...but they can't play hard rockers anymore............... |

Ronnie and Keith.....................They try, but just can't do it anymore.....they have their moments, but far and few in between. The first 30 seconds of most rockers are good...then they lose their momentum and start that'ancient weaving" non-playing shit. |

Rainy Day Women... Isn't that one of the tunes that played when the police raided Keith's house in 1967, according to various retelling of the story? |

Even Jay still keeping faith in our heroes .... you shall be greeted in São Paulo the following summer!
Any word from our Baby Magnolia ? (see T. Santos) I thought with official word on new album and tour, he surely would show up and bring back that "mint-freshness" to this board....... |

They pay their respects to Bob by covering one of his tunes. This is part of what it means to be a true musician from the old school.
Now go get stoned! |

I heartily disagree... although I don't care for their version of "Like a Rolling Stone", their R&B covers are usually fantastic, and I'm praying I get to hear "Get Up Stand Up" on this tour. Rainy Day Women? We'll see. Is there a trombone player in their entourage?
As for hard rockers...does it get any harder than "Midnight Rambler"?
No, I didn't THINK so. Now pipe down and let some REAL fans talk!
(kidding with that last part) |

Not always... I didn't like Love Train. Wasn't too excited about Harlem Shuffle and Going to A Go Go either. |

To each his own, I guess. I didn't think I would like Love Train until I heard/saw them do it, then I loved it. Harlem Shuffle is great, period. Going to a Go-Go isn't a favorite of mine, but I don't hate it.
I thought "Can't Get Next To You" in '94 was KILLER. |

We have no problems, young Jay. Unlike the divisions in America, which talking only exacerbates, our differences could be settled over a booze or two.
As for reggae - BORING??? Here, young Jay Jay...smoke THIS...

..and then tell me what's boring.... |
