Ooooh, I always wondered exactly what year it was (the late 60s and early 70s was all a big blur at the time). Now I know!!!!! |

You were at that show? Wow! Lucky you!
That was like an equivalent to the club shows today.
I think that was the very last show on the 69 tour.
Just tell me you didn't attend any Beatle shows...

Too cool, Talya. Were your seats in the balcony or on the floor?
On a sartorial note: who else but Bill would wear jeans with sharp creases ironed into them? Not to mention a vest he bought at Sonny Bono's yard sale in 1966?
How Bill could be in the greatest, baddest, hippest band in the world and still not have a clue - and then QUIT - is one of the great mysteries of rock & roll. |

Haha, FPM.
Look at the look Taylor's giving him.
"Bill, that drag photo shoot was a long time ago..."

I stood downstairs to see the Stones at the Lyceum (no seats downstairs).
Yes I saw the Beatles at Hammersmith Odeon once. |

Good observation SIA. do you know the boot where Taylor is really high in the mix? I mean unusually high in the mix. i think it might be from '73, i know they play "Its all over now", and Mick T's slide guitar is almpst overwhelming. Taylors guitar is way too loud. does anybody know what boot thiat is? I'd like to find out if anybody can help.
Maybe Hawaii or the earthquake gig, does anyone know? |
