Was anyone there besides me? Did you hear it? First Social Distortion used Hip Shake as is opening bumper music. Cranked it up for 30-60 seconds prior to coming on. Or it could have been the promoters choice...either way that's what they walked on stage to. Later, Soc D did Under My Thumb, Killer version. Started with about a one minute intro with a sort of keyboard interlude and then they rocked it. Then at the end of The White stripes encore the event system kicked in with Loving Cup as everyone walked out. Not sure if they played more of Exile or not as I was out of ear shot during LC. Great to see 30,000 kids grooving to Stones...even if a lot of them didn't know what they were hearing. It's a slow education process. THIS IS A STONES YEAR ! ! ! !

I'll post more about the bands i saw last night (Hot Hot Heat, Flogging Molley, Scocial D, Killers, and White Stripes) later when I have time.
