FotiniD I don't mind new dvd's ever, to be honest, but if they really wanted to release something different and actually fun enough for all people to watch and not just us, they could include something more than just the gig itself. Perhaps a sort of on-the-road "documentary" with backstage footage, interviews with the band and fans, rehearsals, stuff like that. That'd make a real "memoir" of the tour I think, not just a sloppy "show the gig" release.

Bruno
They should release one "a lot of places" gig. Gimme Shelter from here, Rambler from Rio, Tumblin Dice from there, the best version to Sway... They have all the money and logistics to do that and would be very very interesting IMO.

Ladies and Gentlemen and Gimme Shelter are like this, 2 shows mixed as one, right? They got to do it again but with ALL the shows of this tour. Mix the best performances!

F505 They should release NOTHING for a change.

corgi37 I thought the Rio show was to be on dvd.

DizzyDutchman The Four Flicks DVD Box Set was a huge succes.
I think they're releasing a DVD Box Set similar to the Flicks Box Set... some interviews, some backstage footage, 2 or 3 (cut out) live shows, and i'm 90% sure Rio will be on this DVD too...

release: just before christmas, so they sell more...
25th July 2006 10:22 AM

Jumping Jack Staff at the Beacon Theater say that show is also to be filmed.
25th July 2006 04:30 PM
MRD8 If you remember the Four Flicks stadium show was set to be filmed at the Amsterdam Arena but had to be switched to Twickinham because of Mick's vocal chord problems...some of the crowd shots from Twick were really from the first Amsterdam show.
25th July 2006 07:51 PM
Soldatti Let's hope for a good show and surprises in the setlist.

Yeah, release a box set of many shows that have mostly the same setlist! Whatever it is, it will pale in comparison to the Saitama show.
