I know, Martha, I just smiled when I saw this one too--it is such a great spontaneous shot. |

It looks like '81 but they're plugged in. Could it be '75?
Damn good shot though. |

Looks like 1978 to me...Keith's hair, guitar, Ronnie in white and silver shoes |

Nah, its 81 or 82. It could be 78, but my bet would be 81 or 82. Man, we are such geeks!! |

I don't recall Ronnie wearing anything of the sort in '81/'82 -- my bet is '78 (or could it be the Barbarians?) |

Keith's teeth still look messed up here--what year did he get them fixed? |

Judging from Keith's hairdo (I know; how pathetic is that?), I'm guessing it's one of the outdoor shows of the '75 Tour of the Americas. |

it has to be 78 - the straight leg denims and runners are so not '75 - wide legs were still hep then
besides you can just see - it's got to be '78

Looks like '78 to me. Going by the building in the background, maybe its Soldier Field,Chicago? |

This shot is definitely from 1978.
(I saw a buch of them that year)
The give-away is Keith's vest and the strap on Ron's guitar.
Venue certainly looks like Soldier's Field.
It is not Buffalo.
It is not Boulder.
It is not Anaheim.
It is not Oakland. |

We could all be the Stones geeks on the Beat the Geeks show--you know, take turns, never want to overtax our brains. |

Naw...it's definately 78. See,look at Keth's guitar he has his guitar tuned to a high G. he never would of attempted such a slack move in 1981! 1989...perhaps. But the set list would not have allowed the key. Also, notice that Woodrow is talking to Keith. Woody is saying " Hey SpongeKeith Square pants, why don't you go radio like me?" Keith is now looking at Wood's wire-free jam and is smiling about the thought of being unchained. |
