Some Guy |
I'm getting excited now. I will be at Best Buy next week to get my copy. Gonna be a big night! |
|
Nellcote |
I too was ready for this, however, I read the tracklisting of the Canadian version, I think it's a mail order Tuesday for moi. Two full shows! |
|

They turned up at some stores yesterday, apparently in error. I was busy yesterday and couldn't hit the local Best Buy. Then I realized I am also going to be busy next Tuesday so I just went to Best Buy and ordered it online. Hopefully it will come a day early but if it comes a day late that will be okay too since I wouldn't get to start watching it til Wed at the earliest. |

It's gonna be a big day for the 'Bang, but an even bigger day for the Schlitz, my advice, buy Schlitz stock now (while you still can) |

I had posted on another thread that the Canada version of Biggest Bang had extra songs, and it did according to the Best Buy Canada website. However it appears that today they ammended their song list and now it has the same content as the US version..

Actually at the top of the page from the above link it says this:
Rolling Stones: Biggest Bang (4-Disc Set)
Releases 12 Jun/07. This DVD Collection includes Rolling Stones' full concert in Austin, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Saitama (Japan), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Shanghai (China), a "Bigger Bang" tour documentary, and much more. This DVD set features over 55 songs.
Interesting how they say it's the full concert still, but I think it's just going to be a misprint and Canada gets the same tracklist as the US ...

the first time released stuff is very funny... God knows, I've been dying for that Dave Matthews... ugh! |
|
Steel Wheels |
These are featured on their website:
4. If It Ain't Got That Swing featuring Cahrlie Watts (who's Cahrlie?)
5. "Hurricane" featuring Keith Richards
6. Outlets of Emotion featuring Ron Wood
7. Busking featuring Mick Jagger
I wonder if they will be expanded. Prolly not. |

hm - they missed Night Time with their "first time in any format" label, and the "first time on DVD" designations aren't right (SoL?! it's not a concert rendition, but it's on the Bigger Bang "deluxe edition" DVD or whatever it's called). but it's kinda touching that they went to the trouble of labelling them.
so is there some other number in the "first time in any format" category buried somewhere in one of the documentary bits, or was the press release simply wrong in stating that there are six of them?

Hey Nellcote...just realize that BB/Can does NOT ship to the US...you may have to Ebay it or go over the border to get it...I myself just might go to YYZ for the nite...pick up a few copies and bring'em back to the US for myself and a friend or two...simply because I get flight bennies from my job...don't want anyone to think I am a high-roller of a sorts....
but no matter what...I am waiting till after the release date to see what is actuly being released

Did you see that track listing?
I'm not dreaming, right?
It had full shows in Austin & Rio.
Now, the sum bitch is the same as here.
In Michael Cohl's country.
We've been had by Rick Moranis & Co.
We need boots on the ground Tuesday, by someone
at this board who lives there.
Recon Best Buy, report in with their findings, score them bastards for all of us here.
Get back to me with intel-STAT!
Right now, I think Canada is the best country on the planet!
