Enough already..... I'm as big a fan as they come, but they just don't do anything for me anymore. Sure, once in a while they put on a good show, but even that's hit or miss anymore. I don't want to see them the butts of jokes any more, or see Keith not even be able to play the simplest licks, or Ronnie waving to the crowd after an at-best bar band guitarist level solo. All for 500.00/ticket? They CAN'T need the money anymore- all they're doing is tarnishing a great past

$500???? But yes, I see the end is very close. Dublin/Slane could very well be my last show.

Funny timing. Those posts usually don't appear right before a tour.

Are you sugesting that Ronnie is at the same level as a bar band guitarist? Thats an insult to the bar band! LOL
Nah, despite the musical problems, there isn't anything quite as exciting as a Rolling Stones show. The end!

Your entitled to your opinion...but if you really think they should quit why dont you join them and quit posting....most of us here are glad they still give us shows to attend etc....

We love The Rolling Stones. If you don't, then don't post! You can get fed up, but constant bashing deserves banishment. Sammy Davis Jnr be warned!

Your last lame post - thats what we are all curious about as to when.

Sir Stonesalot
So, to quote Tina, "What's love got to do with it"?
Sammy obviously loves the Stones. Read his post again.
I love the Stones too....but so what?
It doesn't change the fact that they are turning into some sort of cheesey circus act. People like Sammy & I love the Stones so much that we don't want to see that happening. We'd rather have fond memories of our band as "The Greatest Rock n Roll Band on the Planet"...not painful memories of "The Greatest Rock n Roll Joke on the Planet".
Real love is when you can let go for the benefit of the loved one...even when they don't realize it.

Nothing new, spot on accurate, but yet I'll still pay to see them, and nearly come to fisticuffs defending them....

Totally agree. That's why this year the boys'll experience their first tour since 1990 without a visit from me. They're doing a show over here next week, and I'm not going. Not to any of the shows.
It feels a bit weird after following them to many places in the last 17 years, but I refuse to buy tickets for a lame field show without seperate FOS-tickets (or a ridiculously high-priced arenashow where the best spots are saved for the rich and bored anyway), having to hear their uninspired autopilot-ty embarrassingly bad executed warhorses crap sets.
I still love them though, their old stuff, their characters, their story. They'll always be mine in some way. But the current shows just make me cringe and yawn too much, I just don't feel like getting that disappointed again. Nevertheless, I wish the people who still enjoy the shows a good time.

I've given on stadium shows since 2002, not worth it. If a club gig comes near me then I'll go...fat chance.

They're better than 8th Wonder..Isnt that Taj Mahal and he's okay but no where near as good as The Stones.....
