glencar In the 70's, Mick was all dressed up in his dandy tennis whites whilst Mick was in teh depths of his drug addiction. They got together for a weekend & agreed to play tennis. Keith showed up looking like a bum. He whipped Mick's ass. It's true!!!

Honky Tonk Man Yesterdays Sun newspaper had a little about this too. It reported that he'd started to play tennis and that Doc's had urged him to cut down to two pints of larger a day. I never even knew he drank the stuff!

Why, in case something slips out of the hole?

I bet his head has had its share of shaking- I don't think he can make it any worse, so I pressume tennis is safe; otherwise his doctors wouldn't allow it.

(Though a tennis-playing, booze-quitting Keith Richards sounds like a crazy scenario... Good for him!)

Joey " The road is long
With many a winding turn
That leads us to who knows where
Who knows when
But I'm strong
Strong enough to carry him
He ain't heavy, he's my Baby Steelie

So on we go
His welfare is of my concern
No burden is he to bear
We'll get there
For I know
He would not encumber me

If I'm laden at all
I'm laden with sadness
That everyone's heart
Isn't filled with the gladness
Of love for one another.

It's a long, long road
From which there is no return
While we're on the way to there
Why not share
And the load
Doesn't weigh me down at all
He ain't heavy, he's my Baby Steelie .

He's my brother(baby steelie)
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.(baby steelie) "

Gazza Keef cuts down on the booze and works on his backhand

(KP International) – Despite the rust and moss growing on ageing Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards figures it's never too late to start a workout regime.
Richards, who is currently recovering from a brain operation after he fell from a coconut tree while on vacation in Fiji, has reportedly started to get back in shape for the remaining leg of the Stones' tour.
The 62-year-old musician has taken to the tennis courts every day to get fit. "His tennis isn't as ace as his guitaring, but he's getting back to full health Keith-style," a friend of Richards told the UK's Sun.
Also in the interest of his health, Richards has decided to give his liver a bit of a break and is limiting himself to only two pints of lager per day.

ROFL!!

Who would've thought.

Anyway, I don't think -if it's true- it will make the least bit of difference to the status of his liver.

Let's hope he doesn't twist a wrist or break a finger whilst playing tennis...

Yes. I think this is probably the biggest risk to his health at the moment. Ha, ha!
