VoodooChileInWOnderl As mentioned some weeks ago a new Mick Taylor album was released, it is in fact the re-release of two albums in one with some differences and special features. The 2CD set contains the previously released album Shadow Man released in Japan in 1996 and the Live album Coating Home with the Mick Taylor live album Coastin Home released in 1995.

To let you know this is an official but not authorized release and Mick Taylor is net getting paid, I saw the album the other day with a different cover than the one we posted before. The first was also unauthorized using a photo by Robert Altman.

If you want to hear some full-clips go to this place http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/68/mick_taylorband.html

steel driving hammer Thanks! Haven't even gotten around to hear Winter yet.

Never even heard his solo stuff too. Can't be that bad.

I got this today: first of all it does NOT contain the 2 videos as specified in February, the cover is now changed.Good news is that the accompanying booklet is full of good photos and has all the song lyrics.
It seems very hard to believe that an album with Mick's name all over won't give the guy his royalties(?)

Mathijs Unfortunately, save for some excellent taylor solo's, the album with Sasha is a horrendous affair -Sasha is a typical 80's big hair poodle rocker, with a slapping bassplayer and a drummer whose only playing to show he's technically advanced. Avoid this release, especially if Taylor's not receiving any royalties.

vampire Shadow Man has been released also in Brazil. Gee, I never heard anything so bad!
If someone steal that record from my home I will thank. Is really rubish.

This record still can be found in some local stores. As I can remember, in sale, like 70/80% off LOL!
Fair enough, anyway.
