Keith Richards in hot demand for acting skills

Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards is in hot demand for his acting skills ever since he starred in the third 'Pirates of the Caribbean' film.
The 64-year-old rocker revealed that he is stormed with acting offers ever since he played the pirate father of Johnny Depp's character Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean sequel.
"All these people want to put me in movies now. I keep getting scripts," the Daily Telegraph quoted Richards as saying.
"It's very unusual. Can you believe it?," he added.
The singer is now considering various offers to find a role that interests him enough. |

Apparently (and it would be great if someone who has the movie could verify -tho i do have a distant memory of having seen it myself) in Barbarella there is a scene where people are "acting" as trees - including keith - and you can sort of tell that it is keith there in his tree costume - i tell you, roll over Larry Olivier this is Oscar material |

He is so damn funny he cracks me up all the time! You always
know where Keith is coming from. Hopefully he will get a role
he really likes. |
