balancer Just out of interest, is anyone from Dartford/Sidcup area or is this mainly a US used site?
03-25-04 01:06 PM
jb This is primarily an American site with some foreigners....IORR is a European site. I will point out , however, that 2 of the founders of this site are foreigners. Gazza, known to his friends as Gary, I believe lives in the industrial town of Birmingham, England. Vodoo, known to his friend as Gerardo, lives , I think, in a large plantation style house on the outskirts of Mexico City.

erikjjf Gazza lives in Belfast, no?

LOL JB, again please would you please give us your sources, I do have access to the website stats, remember?

Based on Administrators this is 50% European and 50% American as I'm 50-50

I don't think so...I think he was born in Belfast, moved to London as a child, relocated to Manchester as a teenager, and finally settled in Birmingham.....I may be wrong.

++++BLANK FRIGGIN' STARE++++

Who do you practice law for..Surrealist Weekly?

I've lived in the same city I was born in for my entire life. I've never even BEEN to Manchester and havent set foot in Birmingham for about 30 years

"A US site with some foreigners"? Dream on. 1/3 of the site owners come from the US. The site is based in Mexico. As Gerardo said, half of the registered members are from outside the US (obviously theres a higher percentage of people from the US who actively POST but thats probably because a lot of people may be reluctant to post as English isn't their first language)

theres a few regulars from in and around London OK.
Alex (Honky Tonk Man) lives around Gillingham, which would maybe make him the closest to Dartford and Sidcup perhaps.

Honky Tonk Man Nanker, I will be knockin' around London tonight! Who knows what terror I will cause!

Gazza is right, as me and in fact also stewed & Keefed both live in Gillingham, we are the closest to Dartford and Sidcup.

In fact, I might be able to go one better. Me and my girlfriend are looking at houses there. That will be so great. Every morning waiting at the platform where Mick and Keith met!

Zeeta Rinky dink panther! Pink pie'd panther!

Why must they stare at me when on the tube?

Exile blasts out of my headphones, but they cannot hear it!

They give me aggresive stares! As if to say,

"turn that up I can't quite hear Charlie's drums on Rocks off and Micky T's solo on All Down the Line!"

So I do!

'Fraid I'm gonna have to stump ya there. I'm from Eltham in London which is the next town in from Sidcup. Keith mentions it in True Adventures by the way.

I get on the train where they met every day and think about it every time I am on it. This is my equivalent of going to church!

Unless someone knows different.

Angiegirl I am used to calling my toilet Dartford, so actually I should win. But, ok, I'm being a sport, Scarthy can have it. Wouldn't want to take away his church .

I know that our rail system is a national joke and an utter disgrace but I'd like to think that 44 years on, its NOT the same train.....

but with the likes of Connex and Network South East and the rest of that lot, nothing would surprise me...
