Washington, March 26 (ANI): It seems that the Rolling Stones were not only making music together, but also beating each other severely during their booze and drug filled heydays, with Ronnie Wood spilling the beans on his drug and alcohol-related misunderstandings with band mate Keith Richards. Wood disclosed that some of their fights have been very gruesome, especially the one at a California hotel, where the two got drunk, fought with bottles and jabbed each other. "He (Richards) came at me with a bottle. I hit him in the belly, in the balls and in the face and had to catch him to stop him falling out the window", Contactmusic quoted him, as saying. According to the guitarist, the fight started with an argument about infidelity, as Richards felt that Wood was unfaithful to his wife. "At that time he thought I was cheating on my wife. He's very moral. It wasn't true, but these stirrers got to him," Wood said. Other band-mates were apparently unaware of the scene, as when Wood went to Mick and Charlie covered in blood, they could not understand what was wrong. "I said, 'Look what's happened!' They said, 'Could you help us with this..?' (It) went totally over their heads," he added. However, this was apparently not the only gory fight between the two, as Wood recounts another incident when Richards was about to hit him with a ratchet knife. "Another time he (Richards) came at me with his ratchet knife at my throat and said, 'I'd kill you now but your wife wouldn't like cleaning up all the blood," the guitarist said. But now, thanks to the airports security measures, the rockers have only verbal abuses in stack for each other ,as they can't carry their knives and guns along. "We do it verbally now. You can't carry knives and guns through airports like you used to," Wood revealed. (ANI)
