FANS of The Rolling Stones are warning of a mix-up with the distribution of tickets for the band's Melbourne concert.
People have complained to Ticketek after being sent the wrong number of tickets, or tickets with the wrong names printed on the receipt.
Allan Drew says he ordered two tickets using the Internet and was sent six tickets valued at more than $2000.
He says he is concerned the mix up will lead to problems gaining entry to the concert.
"If someone did, was in a position to scalp those tickets, six people are going to put that ticket through and because the bar code is no longer valid, they're not going to get in," he said.
A spokesman for Ticketek says it is investigating how the error occurred.

all we want is what we paid for.
Non fan members got access to better seats at cheaper prices than us paid up members, and HAVE THEIR TICKETS.
i have a contact who is friendly with the Dunn brothers who run the Stones logistics and do other tour duties.
I am considering sending him an email with our complaints and lets see what happens to you bungling idiots when the band get wind of this cock-up.
get on it NOW and fix it.

can someone cOFIRM that we WILL get the tickets delivered b4 show dates.
I had 2 memberships, and one was in my mother inlaws name, with her CC details, and she (of course) wont be 'picking her tix up at the venue'
I dont want to travel all the way to Sydney to be told the cc holder is the only person who can pickup tix.
Fark for $47.70 PER TICKET you etix scumbags could afford to gift wrap each ticket individually and have them hand delivered in person.
Now where are the tix ?
I hear some Japanese fans are 8 days away from the show, and have NO tix .
This better not happen to us Aussie fans.

I understand everyones panic. and they (etix) are a disaster of unparalleled proportions.
But don't stress too much, the tickets will come. no stress.
They said we will get the tix 14 days before, and its not 14 days yet.

Both lots of tickets better be in my letterbox next tues-wednesday otherwise I'm gunna start freaking out.
