I think - and I think I'm quite right - that Stones are the group/artist that more has songs in movies. If I wrong, please correct me.
So, I propose we made a list of songs and movies with Stones songs. I beggin with
1 - The Good Fellas - Gimme Shelter and others (which ones?)
2 - Fallen Angel (not sure about this title, but is a Denzel Washington movie) - Time is on My Side - very fucking well used, great movie!
3 - Apocalypse Now - Satisfaction
4 - Casino - Any song? - don't remember.
5 - A Robert de Niro movie, I think the original name is "The Fan". Does anybody remember something?
I don't remember either others RIGHT NOW, but I know there're lots and lots. Please, help! Let's do that list!
Other question: do you think guys there's people working for the Stones in Hollywood (like an agency, public relations, etc) in order to put Stones songs in movies or it's just because the film makers want to do it?

I think "Long, Long While" was in Casino. There was JJ Flash in Mean Streets ... Scorcese is a big Stones fan. In Rushmore, we got "I Am Waiting" and in The Royal Tenenbaums we got "Ruby Tuesday" and "She Smiled Sweetly." |
