hey does anyone have or know where I can download some Jet songs?
After seeing them on stones tour and hearing them on JJJ here in Australia i would like to hear some more. |

Yeah I too wanna hear some of their stuff, Keith requested that they should support the Stones at that gig...they must be shit hot!
BUT I read yesterday that they have not released anything yet so therefore it could prove difficult.
Let me know if u do though! |

They have one vinyle EP out (quite rare now) with four tracks on it. I was a little underwhelmed by it after heraing them over all the shows in such fine live form. THey are signed with EMI now so maybe we'll get some stuff coming out in the near future. They are touring UK and maybe a little of the rest of europe very soon.

Here is a photo of Richard with the band after the last melbourne show.
The security were almost coming to blows with the band trying to get everyone to leave (very unreasonable), but we quickly got a pose between the arguements.
"We're the support band" Jet were saying.
"We don't give a fuck who you are, just fuck off" said the security.

Nil MP3s,
they are touring the UK this month, I think. As they played Nottingham last night see http://www.nme.co.uk/news/104390.htm
But I cannot find ANY info on more dates, this sucks badly.
But then again so does NME's top 100 albums which I also found:
1. The Stone Roses "The Stone Roses'
2. Pixies 'Doolittle'
3. The Beach Boys 'Pet Sounds'
4. Television 'Marquee Moon'
5. The Beatles 'Revolver'
6. Love 'Forever Changes'
7. The Strokes 'Is This it'
8. The Smiths 'The Queen Is Dead'
9.The Velvet Underground 'The Velvet Underground & Nico'
10. The Sex Pistols 'Never Mind The Bollocks...'
This is the top 10 I think you have to buy the magazine to get "the full 100", but based on their top 10 I'd rather not!
http://www.nme.co.uk/news/104366.htm for the full story.
I don't know what they were thinking, that IS bollocks!
LOL |

Will you go see them? |
|
|
| Zeeta |
Oh yeah, if I can find out where the fuck they are playing! Can't find info anywhere!
Got any ideas?!!
|

No idea.
Do the record companies know about touring?
If you like them (hey, you might think they stink) they are very friendly guys and if you showed your interest to them you could easily have a chat etc. I'm sure they'd be stoked to see a UK person who knew even a tiny bit about them.

Will do, I could just ask them about Keith and say nothing about them! That would piss them off! LOL Only jokin'!
I like that T shirt the guy on the right of ur picture is wearing, I presume it's a spin off of the one Keith wore that said "who the fuck is Mick Jagger". Cool
Like u say tho they may be shite,
so we'll see! |

Yeah they 'borrow' a lot and many familiar riffs, but still solid rock. Some nice hooks. Not pretentious or phony, just honest and no fuss.
The two guys with the facial hair are brothers I'm told.
He wore that shirt at enmore also.
