Hi all! I recorded last nights show from the Plate using the 'Audacity' sound recorder, as recommended by people on various boards. However I cannot get it to play back or burn it to disc. I saved the file and it is a long one as I went to bed just after the show started so it's around 7 hours long. If someone can tell me how to remove the recording after the show finished and how to put this thing to disc it would be great. I saved the file and I could send it to someone who has the knowledge of what to do with this recording, it's in stereo too. The sound of the guitars was so up in the mix last night and I'm desperate to hear Worried About You. Hope someone can help. |

Hi, as Audacity use his own format named "Aup" you have to open the file with Audacity and use "export as Aiff" (in the Mac version, for Windows you'll probably find "export as wav"). Then you can open and edit your file with other programmes (to burn the CD the file have to be 16bit - 44,1 Hz). If you would like to cut the unwanted audio before export, just select the part and use "delete". Check also http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help
