Brian was really ugly - inside and out. I can hardly stand to look at pics of him. He was homely before 1967 - after that he was all fat and bloated, bags under his eyes, and stringy orange-ish hair. He looked far older than 25, 26, 27. That was a man who would not have aged well. |

Well, I just wanted to make it crystal clear that Brian is not, to me, a "Golden Stone" or a "Most Precious Stone." He was a fat slob who treated women like dirt. And let's not forget all the illegitimate kids he didn't take care of. Oh, and I already know that some Brian fanatic is going to say that had he lived, he'd have become a good father. I highly doubt that...he had time to invite the kids down to Cotchford Farm, but instead he was too busy with Suki and/or Anna. |

I feel somewhat the same Gypsy. I nerver disliked him to a great extent but he's always been a part of the Stones that just hasn't mattered to me. Sort of a Stones' Noel Redding for me.

I probably wouldn't feel as much dislike towards him as I do if it weren't for his fanbase, as they are like a cult who are always putting down the other Stones by insinuating that they contributed to Brian's early demise, ripped Brian off, etc... |

I guess I'm kind of in the middle on this one. On one hand, I do think he was a great musician and essential to the early Stones sound. On the other hand, none of the Stones are to blame for him getting kicked out of the band, he clearly wanted to do his own thing and was not into the Stones music anymore. |

Some people find it hard to accept the truth. Luckily most of us aren't so blinded by his musical talent that we don't see his shortcomings as a person. |
