Gimme Shelter I've heard that the halftime show will be officially released on DVD. Does anyone know anything about this?

egon It will probably be on the 2nd limited edition of ABB...

Flairville It could be an extra on the no doubt upcoming live DVD from the current tour.

As they're filming the massive Rio show for DVD, it would be cool if they brought out a DVD set something like The Smallest Bigger Bang (The Phoenix Club Show) and The Biggest Bigger Bang (The Rio Show). Phoenix was filmed, it's a nice thought!

i think they did. i am pretty sure that all of those video feeds are recorded (the ones they use for the screens)... i am sure the audio was recorded, too (likely 16 or 24 tracks of it)... now whether it all gets reassembled and released is an entirely different matter, but it all is being recorded...

lonecrapshooter it'd be good to have the MJ interview and the other stones/super bowl footage added to the halftime show

About 30-40 minutes before the superbowl there was a brief interview with Mick, nothing that big was revealed. The woman kept trying to get Mick to predict which team would win, but all he would say was that it would be close and never gave an answer.

JaggerLips Saw a picture of the stage they had, loved it a big red shiny Tongue and Lip logo.

Funny how the Americans censored the songs though, they made the papers here in the UK about the censorship!

I think since '89 they've been filming and recording every show.
