From what books I have read he was an alcoholic. Also have read
he died from cancer. He died in 1993

Actually Frankenstein Thorobad was afflicted with chronic alcoholic shitheaditis of the pickled brain syndrome which causes
severe morphing into a violent shitheaded drunken monster.
