For the love of Charlie Watts....I have been stricken with a severe case of CHICKEN POX. My body has been covered with the foul marks from head to toe and everywhere in between.
Yes, even there.
The medicine I am on makes me see things and sleep a lot, but not so much that I enjoy the shut eye.
I nearly passed out in the shower and had to be assisted to a chair, where I nearly vomited and soiled myself while wearing a tube sock and an old shower towel. I was told I was singing, 'Oh Lord, I'm fixing to die" before my family put me to bed.
I woke up about an hour ago. John Lee Hooker came to visit me. I said, "John Lee, these are my last days, sir." He said, "Boy, you best be on ya'feet soon son." I said, "Sir, why have I been stricken? Why me?"
"You see here boy, this here just what going to happen now son. You be through this. You in a Burnin' Hell now, but you come back stronger than'a ox."
He took off his glasses and looked at me. "Son, you be all right."
He stood up to walk out and I called after him. "Can you look after them?" I motioned to the picture of the Rolling Stones on the wall. He let out a chuckle.
"Son, we all look after them from up dere."
He tipped his hat and walked out into the night.

Sucks for you ~ but take it easy and try not to scratch ~ you'll get scars (duh) but if you take an oatmeal bath it relieves the itching. |
