gypsymofo60 I loved that song the minute I first heard it, very errrmm, ethereal. Could they do it live? I don't think it would work live personally.

Maxlugar Heaven is one of my all time favorites.

It's Mick, Bill and Charlie.

I have to laugh when Keith says Mick can't play electric.

Heaven has such a great guitar sound.

100 Years Ago yeah i agree, I enjoy Mick's rhythm work particulary on Sway and Winter

exile Yes very calming

i dont know about all of you but i go through stages like
For about 2 months I will be into "exile on main Street" and listen to it non stop then might hear "let it bleed" and get fully into that album for the next 2 months

Right now Im in a tattoo You stage ..... "Heaven" and "slave" my current favorites but this changes week to week.

I am a bit the same as this. I have no idea how people listen to multiple albums in a day or during a week.

This is a mystery to me.

When I am into a disc, that is all I want to hear. I crave every little pop and squeak.

It takes time to reach that point though. It slowly builds until you're just going about your day and it hits "I have GOT to hear that song right now".

I have just had the down-hill run of Roseland. Hand of Fate and Dance pt 1 are so great, just two songs of a great show. I have no words to articulate love - for a piece of music or otherwise. Just got to listen over and over.

I have been watching the fleet opener vcd quite a bit since I got it a day ago. Sure the performance is a bit ruff around the edges (especially after listening to the other great shows later in the tour) but still great to see, especially Mannish Boy on the B stage.

stonedinaustralia yes fmk, i heard "roseland" for the first time the other day - the "soul" bracket really is outstanding - as much feeling as you hear on "out of our heads" -i should get into that again - i hope they do a similiar thing at the enmore

i just got the mickboy remaster of LIB so i'll be giving that a thrash and rediscovering all the reasons i loved it in the first place

lately tho it's been "get the fuck outta here" - which features "loving you is sweeter than ever" written by wonder/hunter - the same two that wrote - "i don't know why" - which coincidentally is on the mickboy LIB

anybody know off-hand if stevie wonder ever released those tracks (i presume the wonder is stevie)
