I borrowed the year end issue of Pollstar and there were
plenty of Stones figures, mainly in the top 200 of the year though the Beacon show was buried toward the back of the regular reports.
There are some discrepencies between what was originally
reported in some previous issues and what was reported in the top year end grosses, like Oakland originally reported under 30k. Also all are reported at 100% even though there were some empty seats at many stadium shows not to mention something I have seen forever - if there are 2 sellouts at the same venue, how come there is an odd numbered total?
Anyway here are the numbers if anyone is interested in that sort of thing:

And we thought no one would be at Gillette!
I guess that I'm a pessimist too. |

Those percentages are simply ludicrous and an example of 'spin' being taken to new levels of absurdity.
How the fuck can 33,000 people at Soldier Field be a "sell out" ? Same with most of the other stadiums.

Good point Gazza. I overlooked the fact that Gillette Stadium holds 68,756 seats yet this supposed 100% attendence at the concert was 44,115. The medium capacity- TD Banknorth Garden aren holds 19,600.
Doesn't seem right at all. |

The first thing I said to myself as these numbers made their way into my little brain was LIES!!! The fuzziest math at best. I guess anythinbg is a sellout if you put a cap on it 10 min before the curtain rises...
I had now idea that Idaho was a smaller venue than AC... |
