Well if even half of this shit is true then the freak of nature that calls himself the King of Pop is going to be someone's cell bitch very soon. Twisted,sick,perverted,insane,....yes to all!
I'd say that this shit is shocking, but somehow when dicussing this freak nothing shocks me anymore.
Howe could happen indeed?!

the thing i find hard to come to terms with is that despite all the weirdness i still think "i want you back" is a fanatastic track
it's so confusing when i hear that jackson 5 stuff now - my ears and my feet go yeah!! - while my mind tells me the guy is grade A freak
i guess as they say trust the art not the artist
how do others reconcile this dilemma?? |

SIA, your take on that track is dead on!
It holds up the test of time well.
Graham Parker cut this as a single years back, which is great!
The B side was his slaying of his old record label, Mercury Poisioning, another gem.
ROCK ON! |

in answer to your question...i think "thriller" was incredible and he had a great gift for music..he went nuts. that's the only way i can think of it. all that shit, all that money, all those little kids around him...he went nuts.
but the parents of the kids are the ones i wonder about....

Shit an appropriate punishment for this freak is to ban him from ever getting any more plastic surgery. Shit he'd prolly end up hangin' himself!
As for the whole dissconnect with his talent vs his pedophilia. Yeah,I see your point SIA,but I feel the same way every time I watch OJ in The Naked Gun. His performance was riviting, but that did not keep him doing the ol' slice and dice on his ex wife and that Ron Goldman.

Michael Jackson was absolutely incredible the year he performed 'Bille Jean' at the grammys... sometime in the 80's, I think. |

I met Graham Parker at a party he was playing at, and told him that the last time I'd seen him was twenty years earlier (1982) at the Stanley Theater in Pittsburgh, and that his encore was "I Want You Back" and that it was BRILLIANT. And he said "well don't expect to hear that tonight - too many bleedin' chords!"
I got to videotape the performance. It was great!

I've always liked the Graham parker version of this song better. |
