glencar It was taken in Bolivia in the late fall of '68. Charlie Guevara had been on the run for several months. Uncle Sam had him in his sights & Charlie decided to spend his last night of "freedom" at the drums. Oh what a classic performance it was!

LadyJane Saving myself for later....quiet evening at home with Hubby. Got the champagne chilling, the shrimp thawing and the steaks marinating.

I think for our viewing pleasure...tonight's DVD delight will be Pirates of the Carribean.

Child of the Moon I'm sure this photo is from the Nellcote sessions of '71, taken in Keith's basement. Charlie looks the part - his hair is at the right length for the time period, etc. - and I've seen this shot paired up more than once with stories about Exile On Main Street.
