JAGGER SETS UP HOME WITH LOVER L'WREN

SIR Mick Jagger is to set up home with long-time lover L'Wren Scott.
Jagger, 60, and ex-model L'Wren, 39, are hunting for a new London townhouse with a budget of £5million.
And L'Wren has told pals they will live together "as man and wife" - although the bed-hopping Rolling Stone has vowed never to tie the knot again.
The odd couple - she's 6ft 4in and he's 5ft 8in - have been dating for over two years.
She was at his side at a party to celebrate his knighthood a week before Christmas.
Sir Mick was living in an annexe to the family home in Richmond, Surrey, after splitting from Jerry Hall. But his ex-wife was furious when he allowed L'Wren to stay at the Georgian mansion during the UK leg of the last Rolling Stones tour.
Now Jagger - who has since been living in a £2,500-a-night suite at Claridge's hotel in London - wants a new base.
He has asked aides to look out for property in West London with at least five bedrooms.
"It will be his new main home and L'Wren will be living there with him," an associate said.
"They have carried on their romance very discreetly and only their closest friends know how serious it is. But there are no - repeat no - plans for L'Wren to become Lady Jagger."
L'Wren, who is now the fashion stylist behind Nicole Kidman, Renee Zellwegger and Jennifer Aniston, had a three-year romance with millionaire London property tycoon Andrew Ladsky and was briefly married to Los Angeles businessman Anthony Brand.
L'Wren - real name Luann Bambrough - was adopted by a devout Mormon couple in Utah when she was a baby.
She moved to Los Angeles when she was 18 to launch a modelling career.
Her biggest break was the 1992 £4million Pretty Polly advertising campaign, which featured her 42-inch legs as the hands ticking around a clock face to the music of the Kinks' All Day And All Of The Night.
She became a stylist to the stars after a fall during a fashion shoot left her with a broken elbow, fractured wrist and torn knee ligament.
She has also directed a pop video for US artist Nina Gordon.

Womanising rocker SIR MICK JAGGER is finally ready to settle down - he is house-hunting with his Californian girlfriend.
The 60-year-old ROLLING STONE has been dating leggy stylist L'WREN SCOTT, 36, for almost two years, and the pair are keen to have a London base they can call their own. Jagger has told his assistants to find him a London townhouse valued from $4.8 - $8 million (£3 - £5 million).
The move signals Jagger's biggest commitment to a woman since he parted from his long-suffering wife JERRY HALL four years ago (99), due to his repeated infidelities.
The couple had to book into Jagger's suite at the posh CLARIDGE'S hotel during a recent trip to London after Hall, 47, suggested they shouldn't stay at his Richmond flat, which adjoins the house she was awarded in their divorce
settlement.
A friend of Jagger's says, "Mick and L'Wren are keen to find a place together. When Mick finishes touring they can hardly stay next door to Jerry, and they can't stay at Claridge's forever. It's a natural progression, but Mick is also very aware that L'Wren is not the sort of woman who will be pestering him to put a ring on her finger."
Friends say Jagger fell for her undemanding nature, level-headedness and intellect, as well as her open-minded attitude towards his flirty ways. One adds, "She's certainly not phased by Mick's fame. She has styled for ROBERT DE NIRO, NICOLE KIDMAN and TOM CRUISE. She's got a career and isn't hanging on his every whim."
Despite their apparent friendship, model Hall still seems less than happy about her ex's lusty behaviour. Yesterday (13AUG03) she said from San Francisco, where she is about to reprise her stage role as MRS ROBINSON in THE GRADUATE, "He's a sick, addictive womaniser who made me very unhappy. He's got this Dionysian thing going on that just won't stop. It gets tired - for me, not for him." |

It's incredible to watch our reactions to Mick's girls!  They don't get much respect, do they? I wonder if it's only, ehm, jealousy, or Mick's taste!
The one girl that really got on my nerves was Luciana though. The way she manipulated the poor kid (Lucas) to get money and magazine covers is as appaling as can be. I'm fond of Jerry Hall despite her occasional eyebrow raising press comments, and I'm yet to make my mind up on this L'wren girl (again, how do you pronounce this?).
Not like our opinions do or should matter, it's his personal life for crying out loud. But just for the talk of it. |
