STEWART HANGS WOOD PORTRAIT IN TOILET
ROD STEWART
Rock veteran ROD STEWART has paid out on a self-portrait painted by his FACES pal RONNIE WOOD - and hung it in his lavatory.
The MAGGIE MAY star purchased one of Wood's murals - which sell for around $57,000 (GBP30,000) each - at THE ROLLING STONES guitarist's exhibition at The Gallery in London's exclusive Mayfair area.
The oil-painted faces of other rock stars including BILL WYMAN, JOHN LYDON and JIM MORRISON are also gracing the walls of the exclusive art venue.
But despite the high price tags and the hype surrounding Wood's portraits, Stewart has decided his cloakroom is the ideal location for his giant image.
Stewart's girlfriend PENNY LANCASTER says, "Rod has already purchased one of Ronnie's paintings of him. It's in Rod's home in LA. We've put it in the toilet. I know that sounds bad but it's not an insult, honestly.
"It's just that people have got time to sit down and contemplate it there."

I have heard "What A Wonderfuol World" off Vol. #3 & I can state without any equivocation whatsoever that it is the worst song recorded last year by any previously charted artist. I would fire Miss Fat Ass if I were unlucky enough to have her in my employ. |

Yes SIA, Ronnie art is as expensive because he's a Rolling Stone, but there are worse musicians doing "art" like Grace Slick, Marty Balin, Bill Kreutzmann, the Late John Entwistle, Mick Fleetwood and Tico Torres between many more who just paint as occupational entertainment / therapy or hobby
