The truth is you can run against the Steelers, the special teams are not our only problem, we are not in the same class as the Patriots, and we are not really that good.

We are good, there is just no cohesive thoughts on winning. The defense is still the best in the NFL, all we needed was a game plan today, and it was non-existent. Its like we never showed up.

The Miami game should be fun! Wooo hoooo!!!

Moonie, I had to watch that without the aid of any booze. None. Do you know how painful that was? I got the shakes so friggin bad now. Fuck, the most enjoyment I had all day is reading FOP's posts about how three quarters of the world are reading this shit. Then he takes on Pdog, Gazza, and now you in a postin' pissin' match. I have nothing against the dude, but this will be no Jets win in overtime.

Games like that send me into a tailspin of garage based vice. This is going to be an ugly week.

WinslowStud nice job today choketards!

miami is drooling to play you twits...then they won't be able to be compared with the 0-14 bucs of the late 70s...

GO BROWNS!!!

_Boomy_ Awesome kick at the end of regulation.

What in the hell were those refs looking at? I'm thinkin' the cheerleaders, but who am I to judge.

Hi moonie.
I feel your pain.
I do.

Now THAT is ugly!

18th November 2007 10:36 PM
_Boomy_ I'm a 49ers fan.

It doesn't get any worse. Very hard to support the current team, and I blame management. Assholes couldn't run a team if they had a book entitled "Read This and You'll Win Every Game, Asshole..."

Prodigal Son So... What will be the final score here tonight? I'm going with Patriots 106,657-17. Well actually, I think something like 70-17 is more likely.

Si, Pam. I guess I shouldn't complain, as that guy has caused more sickening ulcers than just about any QB I've ever seen.

I'm watching the recording of it... 56 - 10, and just the begining of the 4th... I can't believe what i'm watching...

Boomy... Bay Area is the polar oposite of New England sports. It sucks so bad here. Until the Warriors win the other day, no team here had won since Sept. 22nd. Pa-fuckin-thetic.
19th November 2007 08:04 AM
LadyJane 56 points.
I'm actually surprised.
I thought they'd put up at least 80.

Serious question though.
At what point in a game like this does Belichik pull Brady?

He's at risk for not only cheap shots but legitimate injury, no?

Guy ain't invincible.

Nellcote Pats played a tough team last night, one which had won their last four games. Good to see Losman back from his injury. Moss is a monster. Coach B playing all players as with any other game, they are professionals. This game can turn in a minute, you never can be too careful. Time to rest up for Philly. One game at a time, we've won nothing yet.
19th November 2007 08:33 AM
LadyJane A tough team?
I appreciate your attitude, but the Bills do not have a player that could cover Moss. We knew that going in.
Losman sucks.

Congrats. I don't see anyone stopping the Pats. Maybe Green Bay.

LJ.
19th November 2007 08:42 AM
Nellcote Moss is Moss, my good friend. There is not a team who can cover him. A team that wins four in a row should be looked at cautiously. Bills are not far away, I do not know with Losman, however, they have a good coach.
On another front, might be another candidate for a fitting viewing at your favorite Bahston institution today.....
A final question, what happened in the Meadowlands yeaterday? I thought we had some competition from the Stillers on 12/09, however, I am not so sure now....

Nelly, your only competition will come from a fluke injury and even that (unless Brady)wont stop Pats. Its truly remarkable what they're doing.Steelers will soon lose Ben as hes a sitting duck waiting to get blindsided.Tomlin needs to look at play calling too.Geez up 3 on the Jets 43..its 3rd and 2 with 3 mins left. And they attempt pass which leads to fumble?...Thats just downright stupid.Browns will take this pathetic division after the're miracle comeback and "kick" to tie it...BTW refs got it right...
19th November 2007 10:23 AM
Nellcote What about Colts needing to score a field goal to win?
After Adam V missed two?
Peyton had that "deer being hit by car" look again...

This will not be a game. The Jets exposed more weaknesses. The coaching philosophy of the Steelers coaches for the Pats game has been reduced to that of"Any given Sunday."

On a bright note, I do see the 1977 Steelers playing this version of the Pats in a dream bowl playoff game soon.
19th November 2007 01:54 PM
mojoman whats the line on the pats-phins game?
19th November 2007 01:59 PM
robpop Steelers play the phins. Just checked a Vegas site. No line yet. Way to go Steelers...We fucked up Vegas.

Keef, I'm only playing the yinzer shtick. I am really happy about where we stand. I had vacation scheduled for this week, it sounds better if I took the week off to booze. FYI I really am boozing now.
