I saw Brian's Christmas show last night at The Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal City Walk. Very impressive show. 13 piece horn section, two precussionists, upright base, sexy background singers. Sold out the Gibson 5 straight nights. He does a mixture of xmas, rockabilly, swing, Stary Cats. Did one sone about "rocking with Gene and Eddie" and broke into 20 Flight Rock for about five seconds and then segued right back into the main song. Had a good rockabilly opening band called Hotel Casino. He's got some loyal fans. I bumped into a guy at the bar at Buca di Beppo and he said he has seen Brian 30 times all over Socal. I'm going back. i think I'm gonna go check out this CD he has out called "13" right now.

I just looked at the set list and was surprised how much I forgot. Too many Moretti's prior. He NAILED nutcracker suite. That is a cool presentation. Also does part of the show in the old Stray Cat style as a trio with the upright base and standing minimalist drummer. Set list:

This desrves a bump. I hate to say it but brian's chops are better than Keiths right now.
