Wow, what a nice show! They played about all of the great Zappa tunes you'd want to hear. They had usually eight, but up to 10 players on stage at any given time including Steve Vai and Terry Bozzio. I was pleased that Dweezil has developed into a decent guitarist (although not as good as Frank.) I'm sure Frank would be pleased how well Dweezil assembled an excellent band and put this on the road for old and new fans to hear.
My friend Larry (who owns at least 17 guitars) called and said his wife couldn't make it, so he had a spare reserved seat ticket for me. I in turn gave my general admission ticket to my friend Keith (who could afford to own 17 guitars but only has about seven or eight). The whole thing lasted over three hours.

Thanks for the tip. This show hits Portland next Thursday and its walking distance from home for me. I saw Frank back in 1980. This should be fun. |

I saw this show back in June in SF and was blown away with how great the show was. I highly recommend seeing it if you get a chance!
