good call. We'd finally get a cool set list!

sadly, the Pugs and the Crowes are the only bands that give us fans a fighting chance of hearing CYHMK

December 15th, 2005 03:44 PM

Phog Brooks and Dunn? Say it ain't so, Joey!!! Goddamn, that is just terrible. We can only hope that they won't come on stage and do "Sweet Virginia" or "Dead Flowers" with the Stones.

WORST OPENER EVER.

Left Shoe Shuffle Q: Who is Metric?

A: The World's Most Unknown Band, opening for the World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band at The World's Most Famous Arena.

There not bad, but the singer is a wife stealer. I'll say no more, I wish his band would just cease to exist.
They'd have to make a record better than Exile for me to see past how much of a loser he is...
December 16th, 2005 12:53 AM
glencar Who'd he steal? I liked No One Knows & some other stuff by them.
December 16th, 2005 07:48 AM
Monkeytonk-man All that fuckin money they're charging for tickets and they can't even get some half decent rock bands supporting them.

Personally, I'm hoping metallica and motley Crue wil get to support them on a few dates on the European tour. or even bettr ZZ Top & AC/DC like the last tour.

Generally though, they do get a load of old shite supporting them.

not that i'm a fan, but Oasis did a gig recently at Cardiff millenium stadium, tickets were £35, and about five or six bands played. now that's more like it. don't like the bad myself, but you can't argue with that price and number of bands can ya?
