Two fans of the rock band The Rolling Stones received the Presidential Medal of Wasted Time this week from former President William J. Clinton, after the first of them finally crossed the 13,000 posts barrier at the Rolling Stones MB "Rocks Off". The two men were honored for countless hours spent wiling away their time posting mostly incomprehensible and somewhat slightly hacked material at various Rolling Stones websites across the net. The ceremony was carried out in the east room of the White House, with many friends and family present.

The current president, who was looking forward to dispensing the award, was asked not to attend when one of the recipients leaked to the Omaha Daily Herald that he'd "rather have his erect nipples shaved off than receive the award from Dubya." Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton was asked to moderate the proceedings, but she was busy planning her 2008 run for the White House, so her husband was asked to fill in. "I'd be happy to help out the two men who helped ghost write my memoirs," President Clinton was quoted as saying.
Reaction among colleagues of the two men was, of course, nothing short of sheer wonder. Shock and awe, so to speak. "Amazing. $#@*ing goddam amazing," sirmoonie told ABC news. "That's tits up, that's what that is."
"I agree," said steel wls.
"Joey, yeah, he is a hell of a poster. Hell of a poster. But I've heard he's less than spectacular in the sack, if you catch my drift, said Factory Girl.
After the ceremony, Joey and Joshie returned to the Washinton Sheraton, where a reception line more than a mile long was formed of people wanting to get in to touch the two men's respective monkies. "You may touch my monkey," Josh told an admiring fan, "but I certainly DON'T do anal."
