TomL There goes TO. That's the first five shows of the US/Canadian tour canceled so far due to the FLU.
12-11-03 02:20 PM
Sir Stonesalot Yeah, no shit. I was supposed to catch him in Philly yesterday.

Is it really flu? Or something far worse for Bowie....bad advance sales?

In his defense though, the flu is going around pretty hard right now...and it's nasty. One of the guys on the other shift at work has been down for almost a week now. Had to go to the hospital twice to get rehydrated. I had the 24 hour variety of it. I was lucky.

Factory Girl Tom, were you really going to TO to see Bowie? I saw Bowie last summer at Nissan Pavilion.

Bowie postpones Toronto show
By JAM! Music

An ongoing illness has forced David Bowie to postpone his show at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Friday (Dec. 12).

Bowie, battling the flu, hoped to launch his North American tour in Toronto after having to cancel the first several tour dates.

A concert date at Montreal's Bell Centre this Saturday (Dec. 13) is still scheduled to go ahead as planned.

Toronto fans are urged to retain their tickets until a makeup date is announced.

The 56-year-old rocker is touring in support of his latest studio album, "Reality."

Martha Get well David. We'll be seeing you in Cleveland the 7th of January. (First time!!!!)

I woke up with the beginnings of a sore throat this morning......and my husband is about half-way through battling a cold virus. Ugh.

Stay well everyone.

SHINE A LIGHT SERIOUSLY!! yes. oh dear, it's the entire man...the language/style of speech, the one dark eye the other pale grey (from an accident), the hair, the rather haggered look. on and on. now, the music?? well, i do like some of it, not all.
he also uses some of the same people that the stones use for touring, that's cool.
