Stray Cat |
Just been listening to Wiltern gig . Stray Cat Blues has to be one of Mick's greatest ever vocals. What IS he on ?
Did anyone (who was there)notice the band's reaction to this , especially Keith's ?

At Roseland, after That's How Strong My Love Is, Kieth appeared to me to be pretty taken with Mick's performance.
Even pointing out Mick to the crowd in acknowledgement, something I've rarely seen him do. |

Indeed that's rare. Keef usually tends to play on stage as if Mick doesn't really exist in his own dimension... |

I didnt notice anything but Mick during that segment so I have no idea what the other band members were doing. When he went into the falsetto during Beast Of Burden, Bernard had a slightly befuddled look on his face. Micks voice was so on that night the backup singers were totally unneccessary. |

Mwahahahahaha...
Bernard and Lisa should have their own spinoff band with Blondie, leavin' the Stones.
And donate the proceeds from their smash-success first album to getting Chuck Leavell a real piano to play live.
And then we'll live in 1972 again.
Oh, how I wish...
