Stones Chuck Leavell Puts Together Allstar Band For Charity

Chuck Leavell, ivory tinkler for the Rolling Stones, will perform in San Francisco on January 18 with a line-up of famous friends.
The Leavell band will feature appearances throughout the night from:
Narada Michael Walden - drums/vocals (Sting, Jeff Beck, Grammy winning producer)
Bob Weir - guitar/vocals (Grateful Dead, Ratdog)
Norton Buffalo - harmonica (Steve Miller Band, Bonnie Raitt)
Jimmy Dillon - guitar/vocals (John Lee Hooker, Clarence Clemons, Bruce Springsteen)
Mark Karan - guitar (Ratdog, The Rembrants)
Ozzie Ahlers - keyboards (Van Morrison, Jerry Garcia Band)
Dewayne Pate - bass (Robben Ford Band)
The show at Bimbo's 365 Club will benefit and promote music education in public schools in the Bay Area.
When he isn't a Stone, Leavell plays with his other band The Werewolves, who will accompany him on the night.
Tickets for the show dubbed 'Groove Is In The Heart' are $150.
