Some of those cities they have never played before. However, Aerosmith has sold out all those venues numerous times. Thought you would like to know that. |

I know that since 1989's amazing 10 night stand at the Tokyo Dome at 50k at show, the market has steadily declined for the Stones and they had less than 100k for their last few shows there......I also know Jake Cohl is learning japanese.

Their market hasn't declined in Japan, or anywhere else, its just become more specialized and targeted towards a different market. |

The last time U2 played in Japan was in 1998. They played one show in the Tokyo Dome and one in Osaka Dome. The Stones played four shows at Tokyo Dome and two at Osaka Dome that same year.
U2 have not scheduled any shows in Japan on their current tour. |

If they weren't popular in Japan I doubt they would be doing an actual tour instead of just Tokyo and/or Osaka. |
