Dead Flowers. Sweet Virginia is amazing, but its an easy decision for me. I love Let It Bleed & Faraway Eyes too. in fact, Dead Flowers vs Let It Bleed is probably the toughest match up for me |

I have never really considered Let it Bleed to be a country song. |

And I've never really considered Sweet Virginia to be a country song. It starts out sort of country (or folk, maybe) but ends up full tilt gospel.
The line is "Tryin' to stop the waves behind your eyeballs" not "weight behind your eyeballs." If you've ever tried to stop the waves behind your eyeballs, you know what they're talking about.
My vote goes to Dead Flowers. Great lyrics, excellent solo, and it's easy to play. I always liked the interpretation that it's Keith's song to Mick. |

Just read this thread and have these comments:
1. Torn and Frayed is the Stones' best country song.
2. Trainspotting is a fucking brilliant novel.
3. Trainspotting is a mediocre movie. |
